NURTURING FAMILIES BACK TO HEALTH

We meet you and your daughter or son where you are most at ease. For many families this is in the privacy of their own home. Our team wants you and your family to be as comfortable as possible.

WHAT WE DO

Through repeated failures in the classroom and the development of destructive habits, high-risk youth have lost faith in the possibilities that await them. To change this, they must be exposed to a caring, inclusive learning environment and dedicated relationships. Our services assist families in creating long-lasting, and rewarding relationships with your son or daughter.

PROGRAM GOAL

Our goal is to foster a commitment with young people that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and reassert a sense of hope in the future. Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be re-established that will give youth the commitment to follow through on a path to adulthood with a sense of pride and accomplishment.

BEST PRACTICES

West Valley Family Outreach is committed to the twelve national principles of mental health and will ensure the industry’s best practices.

SERVICES WE OFFER

Our programs are unique and family-centric with a focus on providing positive life-changing experiences.

What we believe:

Our team believes in a relationships first framework that expresses care, encourages support, challenges growth, inspires partnership, and expands possibilities.

We believe in approaches that seek to understand how you and your son or daughter interact with one another.

  • What is the current state of your relationship?
  • What factors led to the development of the current state of your relationship?
  • What areas foster connection, love, and support and what areas are in need of reflection and change?

We believe in approaches that seek to understand your son or daughter.

  • What inspires them?
  • What are they curious about?
  • What ideas are they wanting to explore but are holding back?
  • How do they go about handling stressful situations?
  • What do they believe?

We serve families facing a multitude of challenges:

From mood concerns, emotional outbursts, stressful life experiences, exposure to chronic stress and trauma, family conflict, damaged relationships, high-risk behaviors (drugs and alcohol, aggression, risky peer associations) to feelings of confusion of what to do and where to turn for help, our experienced team seeks to get to know the youth and your family on many levels.

We provide intake support, clinical assessment, service planning, intervention, and relapse prevention planning all in ways that we believe in and evidence suggests is more effective than general behavioral health treatment.

  • Individual therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Transformational coaching

All services are available to the youth, family members, and parents:

All services are currently available to meet you where you are most comfortable. From your home, to school, or a lunch break at work, we connect with your mobile device. It’s as easy as having a private space to meet one and on with our team.

Research and experience indicates meeting virtually is an innovative way to navigate barriers such as busy work or school schedules, transportation concerns, or time constraints; it is as effective as in-person and allows for deep relationships to be solidified in the comfort of your own space.
